Mohan, an Indian expatriate employed with NASA, travels to his country to track down his beloved nanny, Kaveri. During his stay, he finds himself advocating for reform in a village.A successful Indian scientist returns to an Indian village to take his nanny to America with him and in the process rediscovers his roots

My favorite characters in this film is kaveri Amma and post man , I really liked these characters. 

The direction is little bit ok according at which time the film was made . I also liked the location of the movie . And I felt this is the very realistic movie yes I agree it is very lengthy film but we really engaged to the characters . First half is little bit slow director took is own time to build the interest . But the second half is very interesting and it is fast compared to first half . The songs is good but not great music by : A R Rahman . The film is based on the : Chigurida Kanasu and the film as won the : zee cine award for best female debut , filmfare award for best actor , national award for best playback , national award for best cinematography , zee cine award for best story etc.

Final verdict

I really strongly recommend you to watch the film , it worth to watch.
